Do you have confidence in Santa Claus? Jolly Old St. Nicholas is an integral part of western society and most of us grew up with this particular magical icon. Recently I came upon the concept that Santa represents a distinctive archetype. In Jungian psychology, archetype is identified as an inherited memory represented inside the mind with a universal symbol and observed in dreams and myths.
While seeking of these symbolic images of this dear old man I discovered that which Santa Claus stands for could also be used to motivate us in creating to the new year. I see him as being a fun-loving guy which brings us joy, love, excitement and happiness. It’s said he makes all of our dreams and wishes becoming reality. Within this season our company is loaded with expectations, the brilliance of light-filled homes, the enjoyment being with friends and neighbors to celebrate life, along with the joy and gratitude of giving and receiving.
I realize that catch santa on camera reflects several archetypes. He can be seen within the Innocent archetype, helping us to trust, to hope as well as think that an improved day lies ahead. He or she is clearly driven by faith and trust, bring that hope and giving us that faith along with the trust that most is going to be well.
The Caregiver archetype, however, is not in the exercise of power that is the motive, nevertheless the drive to bestow care on those who want it: the care, concern and nurturing they lack but deserve. He or she is about giving to others fulfilling their requirements. And he is not going to ask for anything in exchange except a cookie, glass of milk or some eggnog. He seems to be an excellent guy, settling on who gets a new Nintendo and who gets t-shirts or shoes. Once we are perfect and if we know, Santa will guarantee we have everything you want.
A tremendous aspect of Santa’s story is the magical transformation from his rising up a chimney from the touch of his nose as well as his yearly trek world wide. And besides that, his flying reindeer without GPS onboard is nothing short of miraculous, indeed. He magically brings gratitude, compassion and like to all, one child’s heart at any given time. Santa is definitely the quintessential Magician archetype helping us transform and transcend current reality to discover new ways of dealing, being and succeeding.
While we are creating our dreams, our visions, and our alternatives for 2010, let’s all be sure you use our Santa Claus model in conjunction with the Law of Attraction, Creation and Allowing. When you have selected after which more clearly defined your alternatives in creating your 2010 Journey, take advantage of this technique to shift your beliefs and allowing of this that you simply desire.
Sometimes only the subtle shift from viewing our images from a grownup part of trying to force, worrying over and wondering how things will alter, to the wide-eyed expectations and faith of kids. A vital part of the skill of Allowing is to let go and let God. Releasing our attachment to old beliefs, ideas and teachings permits us to ready to accept the Infinite Possibilities of the Universe.
Then too, we can liken Santa’s management skills to your universal manager. Could you envision him bringing toys to everyone, world-wide, in only one night? And punctually and within budget? That’s what we’re taught the Universe can do for people, when we change it up to God/Source. In the book “Ask & It Is Actually Given” among the Proven Processes is catchusanta it to the manager. As we set our goals, it’s like delegating to a Universal Manager. So when we take a step back, and enable the Universe set things set up, we CREATE! Remember, we’re not giving up choices, we’re merely turning over all the information and creating our choices.
I urge you to focus on giving onto your Universal Manager all the things you feel you should do during this holiday week. You’ll discover it amazing that since we shift our focus of reality, our reality changes. I’ve done this personally when I’ve felt overwhelmed by all the chores I feel I have to do. Amazingly, some get done, some don’t, and some just don’t seem so important. I’ve had instances when my daughters and daughters-in-law would offer to perform several of the baking. I’ve learned to take help and reply using a grateful “Yes!” This procedure is priceless in all of the aspects of life, not merely the holidays. The Law of Attraction is unfolding and orchestrating all that needs to afflict bring me my desires, Now.
